About the Course

Moody’s Disc Golf in Red Rock, TX was established by David and Julie Moody in the Fall of 1998. While Moody’s Disc Golf Pro Shop was beginning to thrive at Pease Park in Austin, they felt the need to secure a site of their own.

Red Rock is located in Bastrop County about 35 miles southeast from Austin. The are has a long history as an agricultural community. The Moodys continue to raise beef cattle and do some hay production. Many visitors have had their pictures made while golfing amongst the cattle.

Currently there are two championship 18 hole courses on the property with natural teeing areas and Discraft Chainstar baskets.
